Apparently someone dispatched over 50 sea lions in the Galapagos with blunt force trauma. Nothing was harvested off the sea lions.
If some folks are touchy about shooting our local sea lions, consider their argument in context.

I agree with Dani. I'm speechless
Although I'm not amongst the "no kill" crowd regarding our sea lion situation at Bonneville, I can imagine where they are coming from.
With stuff like this happening every day, relentlessly, all over the world it can be emotionally difficult to actually OK a willful (even if logical) destruction of wild animals doing what they do. I get it.
