I got an email today from a friend regarding a Yucatan Resort for sale, cheap, on Craigslist. Not cheap enough for a mortgage-paying one-income family with a college student in it.
...
Thanks Criddle -- way to make me question my latitude. Ya weenie.
Enjoy the torturous jibes of friends,
Bp

Downside: there are no salmonids in Yucatan.
Upside: There are bonefish. And tarpon (if you labor under the misconception that hooking a 100lb fish on a fly rid is a good idea).
I think my favorite line in that whole book... what is it called... still waters? ... anyway, my favorite line is the author saying that every time you hook a big tarpon, every single time, during that blistering first run you have the same thought... "is this really a good idea?"
