So much hate for Venezuela's Chavez

When Chavez and Venezuela's nationalized oil company does things like this -- how can the U.S. corporate neo-fascist beltway jerks support them... I mean, help the poor? Over profits? PLEASE.

When he does things like this I rest assured that the archetypal crazy small-country dictator will live on in another Mel Brooks movie...

I know, he's pulls nutbag things off all the time, with the good things. He's a complete mixed bag.

By not putting caveats on the post (I know this guy can act crazy as well as good) I wasn't proposing unilateral support for the guy.

But the fact remains, it's a sovereign nation, and because they don't want to use their own country's resources in the way the U.S. wants them to, they are going to be demonized, and there will be every attempt possible made to disrupt his government and defame him.

So, I watch with caution on both sides. I know the spin machine is in full force on this guy, so all information is suspect.
