Cryptozoology today: Bigfoot in Pennsylvania?

This handsome fellow was photographed by a trailcam in Alleghaney National Forest. Nowadays, pictures don't mean much, what with photoshop and all, and guys dressed up as bigfeet. But, it's fun to stare at it and wonder if some of these critters are running around North America some place.

Check out the Oregon Bigfoot website for more musings on this subject.

Enjoy your zoological anomalies,

Bp

This awesome and really informative! Can you recommend how one gets started on learning how to mushroom hunt? I've been curious for years.

Black bear with mange. Much more likely than "bigfoot". Mange is well established, documented and PROVEN, not mythical in any way. Same goes for black bears. Black Bears can and do get mange. Black Bears do stand and walk on all fours. Black Bears do live in the Alleg. Nat. Forest. Put it all together and this is what you get. If a Black Bear with mange living in that forest walked in front of a trail cam what would you expect to see ? What would a Black Bear look like with mange and what would this photo look like with a full coat of fur ? Black Bear ! Do you see any humanoid looking features on this creature, fingers, ears, etc. ? I see Black Bear ? Did any hunters take or report seeing a Black Bear with mange that year ? That forest is swarming with hunters every fall. How many have ever reported a "bigfoot" vs. Black Bears ? BLACK BEAR, BLACK BEAR, BLACK BEAR ! or PROOF, PROOF, PROOF !
