AT 11:53 A.M. A FACULTY MEMBER NOTIFIED PORTLAND STATE'S CAMPUS PUBLIC SAFETY (CPSO) OF A NOTE FOUND IN THE RESTROOM INDICATING THAT A BOMB WOULD DETONATE IN NEUBERGER HALL AT 4:30 P.M. ON MONDAY, FEBRUARY 25, 2008. CPSO IMMEDIATELY LOCKED DOWN AND EVACUATED THE BUILDING AND VERFIED THE POSSIBILITY OF A THREAT. THE UNIVERSITY ESTABLISHED AN INCIDENT COMMAND CENTER. PORTLAND POLICE HAVE SWEPT THE BUILDING. THE UNIVERSITY IS CONTINING THE INVESTIGATION AND WILL KEEP THE BUILDING CLOSED AND SECURED UNTIL AT LEAST 5:30 P.M THIS EVENING. CONTINUE TO CHECK THE WEB FOR UPDATED INFORMATION ON EVENING CLASSES (UPDATED 1:45 P.M.)

Weird man. Though i think if people were going to bomb a building they'd not leave a note in the bathroom. Though with the current state of US Colleges and Schools every thread is a serious threat.

They never figured out who left the pipe bomb in the mailbox. Not sure it was intended for the bakery -- would have been easy to do some actual harm with just a little observation and thought.
I know you all have a bit of violence up there. Where there are humans, there is generally violence. Even in Norway. However, we Americans tend to skew the numbers, with WAY MORE per capita than just about anywhere in the 'civilized' world. Bah. I'm going to tend my fire downstairs before I get truly riled up. Next thing you know is I'll be posting on the Nader/election thread.
