R.I.P. Pootie

Out of the blue, we lost our cat Pootie this morning at 7:30. He seemed fine, jumped down from the bed, yowled a bit and was gone. At least it was quick. He was in the prime of life and had no symptoms whatsoever.

It's a shame our baby will never get a chance to play with him.

We'll miss you little scupper.

sigh.
one of my all time favourite catpals.
truly a memorable kittie, I'm really sad not to get a chance to visit with him again. . .

My profious condolences.

We recently lost one of our kitties suddenly.

She was an old, happy girl who just keeled over. We still miss her terribly.

So, I can relate, I think.

It's startlingly emotional. I think of myself as healthy emotionally, not prone to hyperbole or drama -- and this is really getting to me.

He was just a very cool part of the household.

Thanks for the concern.

He looks like a beautiful cat, and I'm guessing from the appearance, a tuxedo cat. I know those to be smart as well as lovely.

My condolences.

With a 12 yr old Calico who is a very nice cat (said as a cat tolerator under ordinary circumstances) and a very large 6 yr old dog (150#) I know that isn't real far in my future. Condolenes.
