JFK vs. The Federal Reserve

I was sent this link by Uncle Ted with the caption, "I know this seems like school but if you take the time to read this it will explain why we are in this current mess. It's not complicated, it's simple greed."

Here is a teaser quote:

Article 1, Section 8 of the US Constitution specifically says that Congress is the only body that can "coin money and regulate the value thereof." The US Constitution has never been amended to allow anyone other than Congress to coin and regulate currency.

Ask your representative, in light of that information, how it is possible for the Federal Reserve Act of 1913, and the Federal Reserve Bank that it created, to be constitutional. Ask them why this private banking cartel is allowed to reap trillions of dollars in profits without paying taxes. Insist on an answer.

Enjoy a little school on a brisk Monday morning,

Bp

www.zeitgeistmovie.com opened my eyes to this as well. Too bad 98% of Americans are oblivious to the nature and cause of the Federal Reserve. And even if you told most people about it, my guess is that a lot of folks would put this entire topic in the category of 'sensationalist liberal hype'.

Oh I think "sensationalist liberal hype" is very generous LOL. I'm thinking more "grassy knoll society" is a bit more like it.

Folks just ASSUME that because it's a large institution, it was founded with our best interests in mind, with oversight, in a reasonable manner.

Not so, not so.

Good to see you sir.

You suck for moving.

in britain they refer to the "tinfoil hat brigade" - anyone who believes in alternative explanations to the accepted "reality". . . :D

the zeitgeist movie is a good one, as is "money is debt", and webofdebt.com. . . yeah, it's a pet interest of mine ^^

don't get me started.

lol, yeah, that was a fun, fast read - a quick quote to make us all smile:

"Who owns the FED? The Rothschilds of London and Berlin; Lazard Brothers of Paris; Israel Moses Seif of Italy; Kuhn, Loeb and Warburg of Germany; and the Lehman Brothers, Goldman, Sachs and the Rockefeller families of New York."

and who's getting some MORE money in the form of "bailouts"? the web article was written in 1999, makes good reading in light of the past couple of months of "banking chaos". . .

same story, different perspective - on December 23, 1913, Congress created the US Federal Reserve System. At this time, Pluto was OPPOSITE its conjunction with the Galactic Center - September this year Pluto went direct CONJUNCT the Galactic Center (ie, exactly opposite where it was in 1913) - and that's when the current "crisis" began, hmmm?

Pluto currently moved into Capricorn (for the first time in about 247 years) last wednesday, and is on its way to exact opposition to the fed's pluto, end of january 2009. . .

(that's me officially outed, tinfoil hat in place, heheh)
