Crow Pie for breakfast, the Veruka Salt Massacre

Or, double entendre for breakfast, whichever you prefer.

OK, so I talked to one of my lawyer friends about the whole Veruka Salt situation, and the commentors are correct -- she was being slapped harder than the average first offender. At least by Oregon standards. 3-4 days, apprently, is about normal for the circumstances she was in.

As for precedent regarding Corrections early-releasing an inmate -- this is also perfectly legit, and subject to judicial review.

So much for posting while my head is up my posterior. I'll do my research BEFORE I spout my mouth off next time, lesson learned. I'll keep the original post up, tempting as it is to sweep it under the rug. As we say in our house, "another fucking opportunity for growth."

Humbly yours,

Bp

the irreverent Dadaist in me replies, "MMM, MMM, tastes like chicken!"

Good on ya - as you said, AFOFG, and the Veruka Salt comparison is brilliant.

It's ok B . . . the judge sent her back to serve out the rest of her sentence behind bars instead of in her home: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/19102663/?gt1=10056

*judge snaps with a Z . . . OH NO YOU DIDN'T!

You know Stingite, I don't care... this is all about ME NOW, ME and the lessons I LEARNED. ME (Veruka has inspired me)

Rev... yeah, I'm betting my hit counts for the last two days are pointing to that same sentiment.

ok the "AFOFG" comment just cracked me up. mainly because it I say it all the time - yes I stole it from Katwah. It fits so nicely in most life lesson moments. gotta love it. It's like a line from a movie that you remember in times of need, only it's a line from KT from back in the "doing the work" days.

Definitely lightens the mood and puts things in perspective don't it. We really do use it all the time.

It's the little things.

sometimes I have to substitute the word "fucking" with the word
"bleeping" depending on my audience. But I ALWAYS hear it in my head with Katye's voice. It's a sort of resigned tone,, with a little Katye chuckle at the end of it. I can see her saying it and then walking out of the room - like " oh what the hell. "

She is a rock star.

Does this mean you like Sheryl Crow or you don't like Sheryl Crow? Because I like Sheryl Crow (at least the old Sheryl Crow when she was a real rocker chick like Joan Jett) but a lot of people don't like Sheryl Crow and that depresses me.

I think Ms. Crow is just fine, and pretty dam cute too. I just was looking for an image for "crow pie" and came upon this one with her in quite the ... exposed pose. Suddenly the term "crow pie for breakfast" took on a whole new depth. I couldn't resist.

If I've grossed out Tate, my work here is done. :-)
