This is the century of the robot. Prepare yourself for robotic warfare (already here and accelerating) and next is warfare and domestic surveillance (little bug-like fliers that can land on a windowsill). As we see in the video police use is imminent. A well written book on the subject is Wired for War not covers the hardware but discusses the ethical questions that ought be discussed before we get too involved. (It’s interesting that the “Perp” in the video was a big scary shirtless black man.) iRobot is a big player in the military robotics companies.
